Rhiannon is a researcher, writer and editor, working to explore and communicate the future of the built environment across our research reports, publications and consultancy projects.
Rhiannon is the lead editor for Arup Inspire, a growing collection of emerging ideas and case studies covering built environment innovation from around the world. With a background in English literature, she is interested in how urban design impacts and can improve social inclusivity, as well as the role of ethics in existing and developing smart technologies. She grew up partially in Cyprus, and has spoken at the Royal Academy of Arts about her research on the island’s dilapidated no-man’s land region and its post-war influence on current social relations.
Rhiannon is a founding member of nonprofit organisation Feminist Internet, which produces lectures, workshops and writings on internet equalities. She is also a poet and her first collection of poetry, Saturnine/Saturnalia, was published in 2018.
