Felicitas is a Foresight and Research Analyst in Arup’s Foresight, Research and Innovation team. Her role includes the planning and delivery of workshops and events, both for Arup and external organisations, as well as research and analysis of the major challenges and trends affecting the built environment, society, and culture. Felicitas’ work spans a broad range of sectors and feed into the team’s foresight and strategy programmes, including trend research, scenario planning and visioning. She is the platform manager of Inspire, an internal database of case studies in innovation and coordinates a global network of forward thinking individuals within the firm, ensuring global outreach and relevance of projects.
Felicitas was lead researcher and foresight consultant for the Cities Alive: Urban Childhoods report, which examined the benefits of designing child-friendly cities.
Felicitas has a background in spatial and graphic design and psychology, and previous projects fall within the realm of human-centred research and design. In her work she combines an understanding of people’s experience’s and behaviours with future thinking to create meaning and foster well-being and innovation.
