Dr Anne Kovachevich
Australasia Foresight Lead
Anne leads Foresight for the Australasia region. She helps clients to understand the disruptions that are inevitably occurring and helps to empower them to make the most of opportunities that arise.
With a background in hypersonics and sustainable building design and engineering, Anne brings technical expertise to her foresight thinking. She is an experienced sustainable building’s design engineer as well as completing executive training in futures thinking and strategy development.
Anne has developed and facilitated many workshops and sustainability workshops. Recently Anne has been working closely with Arup’s Sustainability, Energy, Water and Waste teams. Anne’s project experience includes scenario development for the water industry, horizon scanning and scenario planning for the waste industries, focusing on the circular economy and investigating the potential for the use of hydrogen in the energy sector in New Zealand. Previously Anne worked with Brisbane City Council on their Smart Connected Brisbane strategy and the University of Queensland on their multi award winning Global Change Institute.
